Step #16 Community Wiki Search

Okay, then.  That did not take as long as I expected!  I went to this weeks lecture and clicked on “Wikis as Legitimate Research Sources” by Suzanne Bell at http://ezproxy.library.wisc.edu/login?url+http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=tfh&AN=35157397&site=ehost-live

Then I scrolled down to http://Wikispot.org where I clicked on the Wiki Directory.   I was shocked that there is not one community from the state of Iowa or Minnesota included in this directory.  I used to live in San Antonio, Texas so I clicked on the state of Texas.  There I found only Friendswood and Houston have created wikis!  WOW!  Shocking!  I bet this will change dramatically as more people learn about wikis.
